Proposal writing plays a pivotal role in determining the success of completion, publication, citation, and utilization of research endeavors. The process of topic selection further influences journal choice and research design. Regarded as the most vulnerable phase within the research process, this list of steps holds significant importance; flawed proposals can hinder the achievement of result reproducibility and generalizability. Thus, this training workshop marks the crucial initial step towards achieving accurate and favorable outcomes.

The webinar objectives are to:

  2. choose a theory that guides the study;
  3. identify the research review type for the study;
  4. develop hypothesis from the empirical evidence; and
  5. select appropriate methods.
