From the successes of the Asian Conference on Interdisciplinary Research 2018 at the Hotel Sofitel Angkor Phokeethra Golf and Spa Siem Reap, Cambodia and the International Conference on Development Education 2018 held at the Philippine School Doha, Qatar, the Asian Society of Teachers for Research, Inc., and the Northwestern University once again, invite researchers, scholars and educators to its first Philippine conference for 2019, the Philippine Conference on Multidisciplinary Research 2019 on April 27-29, 2019 at the Hotel Supreme Convention Plaza, Baguio City, Philippines.

Themed, “Developing Research Skills Across Disciplines,” the PCMR 2019 aims to: : 1) to appreciate models of multidisciplinary research across the Philippines and beyond; (2) disseminate new research results of multidisciplinary studies; and (3) forge partnerships, collaborations and alliances to foster multidisciplinary research.

SUBMISSION FOR PRESENTATION CONSIDERATION

Submit a full paper with a 200-word abstract with five parts: (1) introduction of the topic; (2) objectives; (3) methods; (4) results; and (5) conclusion with keywords having four parts: (1) discipline of the study; (2) concepts investigated; (3) methods and process, (4) geography (country/continent). It must be accompanied by formal 2x2 photo, name of institution, and institution logo. Send these documents to [email protected]/[email protected]. All submissions must be in Microsoft Word.

For observer, please submit the filled-out observer registration form together with a 2X2 formal photo and curriculum vitae of the observer.

CONFERENCE STREAMS

Educational management, outcomes-based education, effective teaching pedagogies/andragogies, learning styles and outcomes, special education, action research interventions, quality assurance in organizations, trends in human resource management, economics, work and employment relations, leadership and organization behavior, corporate social responsibility, innovation and Strategy, communication and media, challenges in tourism, hotel and restaurant management, community-based ecotourism, sustainable development, regenerative development, ecology and conservation, biodiversity, conservation of heritage sites indigenous culture and arts, health and safety and other fields.

FULL PAPER SUBMISSION

Each part of the manuscript must contain appropriate and sufficient substance. The paper must demonstrate the following parts: (1) Heading having five parts: Title, name of the author/s, ORCID No. (visit www.orcid.org to register), email address, affiliation and address; (2) Abstract; (3) Keywords; (4) Introduction; (5) Framework Of The Study; (6) Objectives Of The Study; (7) Materials And Methods (for experimental researches); (8) Methodology (for nonexperimental researches); (9) Results And Discussion; (10) Conclusions; (11) Translational Research (Optional); (12) Acknowledgments; and (13) Literature Cited.

CONFERENCE FEES

Each presenter is allowed to present up to a maximum of two papers.

  1. Regular Registration Rate without presentation (Observer): 5500 php
  2. Paper Presentation Rate: 7500 Php
  3. Paper Presentation with Publication Rate: 12500 PhP
  4. Extra Paper Presentation Rate: 1500 Php

The Conference fee covers the two day am and pm snacks, lunches, certificates, registration kits, ids and one copy of the printed book of abstracts.

JOURNAL PUBLICATION

All papers which are accepted for publication will undergo the journal publication process prior to the print and online publication in THE ASTR RESEARCH JOURNAL with Print ISSN 2619-8428 and Online ISSN 2619-8436.

The ASTR Research Journal is an annual journal published by the Asian Society of Teachers for Research, Inc. It is aggregated by the Philippine eJournals (https://ejournals.ph/) and accessible online through https://aseanresearch.org/astr/publication.
