7th Asian Virtual Conference on Institutional and Action Research 2025 (7th AVCIAR 2025)
December 4-6, 2025 via ZOOM Teleconferencing
A watershed moment in human history, the emergence of Artificial Intelligence is fundamentally reshaping organizational structures, economies, and societal interactions. It has been a challenge for modern institutions to not just ensure technological integration, but the construction of robust governance frameworks that ensure AI’s evolution is guided by core human values. Macro-level Institutional Research (IR) and micro-level Action Research (AR) are essential mechanisms for constructing an AI future that is intrinsically adaptable, ethical, sustainable, and human-centered. Institutional Research provides the necessary strategic oversight and data governance, constructing the organizational blueprints and policy guardrails that facilitate institutional adaptability to macro-level change. Action Research, meanwhile, provides the essential participatory loop, translating abstract ethical principles into demonstrable, tested practices that keep human well-being and voice central to the design and deployment process. With the integration of IR defining the "what" and "why" of ethical AI governance, and AR defining the iterative "how," individuals and institutions ensure that the age of AI delivers on its promise of an adaptable, ethical, sustainable, and fundamentally human-centered future.
From the success of the 6th Asian Virtual Conference on Institutional and Action Research 2024 bringing together researchers and professionals from across Asia on November 28-30, 2024, the Asian Society of Teachers for Research, Inc. invites students, students, scholars and educators to the 7th Asian Virtual Conference on Institutional and Action Research 2025 on December 4-6, 2025, which will be conducted virtually via ZOOM Teleconferencing!
